Press Release – Temporary Traffic Regulation Order Ratby Lane, Kirby Muxloe Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Cadent Gas to investigate and repair a gas escape.

An emergency road closure is required on Ratby Lane from the roundabout with Bloods Hill to the junction with Wembley Road from 18th November 2024. Due to the high complexity of works, the road is anticipated to remain closed until the evening of 2nd December 2024.

Due to localised traffic congestion a temporary closure of the access to Main Street off the Ratby Lane roundabout will be in force from Friday 29th November 2024 until works are completed.

The proposed alternative diversion route will be: Ratby Lane, A46, A50 Groby Road, A50 Leicester Road, New Parks Way, (A47) Hinckley Road, Ratby Lane and vice versa During the closures, alternative routes available to all traffic can be viewed on the weblinks below.
