Royal Condolence from Glenfield Parish Council

Royal Condolence from Glenfield Parish Council

We are all deeply saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty, The Queen. Speaking on behalf of the residents of Glenfield, elected members and staff, we at Glenfield Parish Council would like to extend our sincere sympathy to our new King and all members of the Royal Family at this truly upsetting time.

Being the longest-reigning monarch in British history we will be honoured to observe the Royal Mourning period and therefore will not be undertaking any social engagements until after Her Majesty's funeral. As a mark of respect, during the mourning period, the flag in the grounds of Glenfield Parish Council Offices at Park House and at our Sports Pavilion, Gynsill Lane, will fly at half-mast.
