Leicestershire County Council are introducing seasonal services to keep people connected and support local communities this festive season.

Blaby District Council is set to introduce food waste collections as part of a national initiative aimed at stopping food waste heading to landfill and tackling waste and climate change.

People who would otherwise be on their own, who are aged over 70 and living in Anstey and surrounding villages, are welcome to join the team at St Mary's Church Rooms, Anstey on Christmas Day.
