People across Leicestershire can benefit from FREE to use seasonal bus services across the county this December.
Leicestershire County Council are introducing seasonal services to keep people connected and support local communities this festive season.
Routes will serve local Christmas markets, town centres, and tourist attractions like Gates Garden Centre, Twinlakes and Conkers!

Plans for food waste collections
Blaby District Council is set to introduce food waste collections as part of a national initiative aimed at stopping food waste heading to landfill and tackling waste and climate change.
The scheme is scheduled to start by 1 April 2026, in line with Government legislation requiring separate weekly collections of household food waste.

People who would otherwise be on their own, who are aged over 70 and living in Anstey and surrounding villages, are welcome to join the team at St Mary's Church Rooms, Anstey on Christmas Day.
Transport can be arranged.
