Information:
This plot of land, owned by Blaby District Council and facing Gynsill Meadow the other side of Stelle Way, is a wildlife haven in poor condition. It features mature woodland with figure of eight paths through it, which can often be muddy. The Council keeps up the fencing and mows the grass fringe, and many trees have been planted as memorials. At the south-west corner, there is a sizeable pond which fluctuates in water level. This area offers a beautiful and tranquil scene, with shady trees providing relief from the hot summer months and the pond adding a stunning touch to the landscape. Aside from recreational opportunities, it also provides a home for various species of wildlife. It is the perfect spot for a short wander and to appreciate the natural beauty and the diversity of wildlife. Visitors can enjoy this plot of land and its many wonders, as a source of peace and relaxation.
