A retired Commercial Banking Manager and a systems and financial analyst with a law firm and a travel company I have been involved with local government on a voluntary basis for nearly 30 years. Once present health issues are overcome I hope to get back to cross country running, fell walking and mountaineering. Main interests are the great outdoors, the environment and the wildlife that shares our world. I like gardening and cooking and writing books and poems. Married to Doreen with two children and 5 grandchildren with family scattered through France, Sweden, Australia and New Zealand and looking forward to resuming visits as soon as allowed.
